Job Description
We are looking to recruit for our enthusiastic and well trained banqueting team. The successful individual will be part of helping our beautiful venue in maintaining the highest of standards that we currently set and help produce an unrivalled customer experience.
This role is suited to both Males and Females.
No Waiting experience is necessary as full training is given to successful candidates.
About The Role
- The setting up of the venue for the day’s function
- Greeting and directing guests to the correct areas
- Serving trays of reception drinks after a wedding ceremony
- Serving and clearing a three course wedding breakfast
- Pouring wines during a wedding breakfast
- Getting the venue organised from the wedding breakfast ready for evening guest arrival
- Silver serving evening food
- Assisting with clearing away and closing down at the end of the night
About You
- Be able to provide excellent customer service
- Have good attention to detail
- Be smart, professional, punctual, and cheerful
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Be able to use initiative
- Be able to work well in a team as well as individually

Friern Manor’s buildings and infrastructure date back as far as 1790, and obviously, provisions for guests requiring ease of access through ailments or disabilities were not at the forefront of design. We hope the guide will provide further useful information.

We are one of the few hospitality businesses that have invested in a defibrillator, we have also worked closely with Kitt Medical to become the first wedding venue in the country to install their emergency EpiPen kit. In the unlikely event of these lifesaving devices being required during your visit, they are at your disposal through all management and concierge services.
